Poll: What Should Our Baby's Middle Name Be?

I thought having you participate in a little poll on my blog would be fun! Our baby girl is due to arrive at the end of the month and we’d like to have her middle name decided on before the delivery room.

We are 99.9% set on her first name being Hannah. It flows well with our other children’s names: John & Rebekah (biblical, traditional names, named after Jeremiah’s dad and my mom). We love the meaning of Hannah: Grace; favor in Hebrew. I’ve always loved the softness of the name and how feminine it sounds.

Now, to the middle name. There are 4 options below that are our favorite as of now:

Kate- Jeremiah likes the name a lot. I do too. I think it’s cute/sophisticated and might be fun to call her by both names: “Hannah Kate.” There would be a hard “k” on the middle and last name however, but that might not matter so much?

Elisabeth- Significant for author Elisabeth Elliot. Her writing has greatly impacted my mom’s life and my own. We also think it flows well.

Grace- It seems like every girl’s name sounds good with grace in the middle, right? It is a popular one.

Madison- just because.

If you have any other ideas, feel free to share them in the Comments. Thank you!

    I like Hannah Kate perhaps because it’s so close to my grand daughter who is Hannah Kaye but Hannah Elisabeth is nice too. You could always do Hannah Grace Elisabeth… :o }

    I voted for Elisabeth too! As Danielle said, it flows well. It was also one of my favorites when we were naming Savannah. She was almost Elisabeth with the “s.” Love that spelling.

    For some reason I’m still partial to Kate… I love that name :-) But, I’ve always also really liked Elisabeth…. They each have a different feel. Hannah Kate is cute and kind of fun, Hannah Elisabeth is a little more sophisticated and classic. I don’t think you can go wrong either way (these two are my favorites though :-)

    I love the name Hannah too…. and I picked Kate for the middle name because it together with hannah is interesting, different, and gives the softness of the name hannah a bit of extra strength. I also can totally picture a Hannah Kate as a member of YOUR family specifically. :o )

    I voted Elisabeth because of the flow w the first n last name also keeps the name soft. And I love Elisabeth Elliot. I will always cherish meeting her at LU. I can vote more than once if that will help :)
